This day is so auspicious, it brings gifts ofmany loving memories !
Full of joy were your childhood pranks , your Papa and I eternally cherish !
Those days are gone but its remembrances are alike sweet cherries 🍒
Recollecting a few, I still see plates, heaped with Saraswati ji’s berries!
We walked long distances collecting from “pandals” sweet puja savories!
In weather hot,you returned from school ,in shirt wet perspiring.
And waited for me to wipe with towel, those drops,tearfully smiling!😘
I want to bandage those little fingers today that got hurt in chopping sugercane,
Time’s tread,you are now a mature person, my motherly worry is in vain!
Decades have passed ,changes’re numerous in fields of our life !
Its satisfying to find you succeed, because you ‘ve learnt to strive!
“Stop Not! Keep Walking Ahead my son!”for labour rewards its soldier,
Who stand not to gaze futile around but fearlessly persevere!
