Man ascends the stairs, thereby to forget;
Those that helped, in climbing up this step!
His soul though scales his movement all awhile,
Unknown to destiny, keeps shedding ignorant smile
Look not down with scorned laughter lable
They remained with you, all awhile stable
Holding safely, a ladder higher for you to caper,
Fast you scoreboarded that sky, above safer.
Pacified immense, they were to see you try
Watching you with joyous pampering cry.
Uncared, you soared deeper into blue high
Upwards thy feet glided, eyes though wilted sly.
With vast expanses of thoughtlessness to ply
Forgetting those hands, guards that protected thy.
Alone to enjoy pleasures, the ladder to deny!
Patience worned out, no more they could hold,
Their loud voices, yet lesser could you be told,
“Come down, another day you can be bold!”
Lost in haughty pride, bereft warmth, kindness sold!
Higher they called, uncompassionately you sprawled.
“I am strong, I can fly here independent of support”
Suddenly, ladder lost balance, it fell broken, aghast!
Wrapping you in dust, weathered wings, a state, distraught!
Relations of humanity, a severe lesson taught!
